Another great performance by Wishbone Ash where they played the whole of the Argus Album from start to finish. The sound and atmosphere at the Astoria is always good, but on this occasion the evening was almost spoilt by the fact that some people at the front had a huge very bright spotlight directly into their eyes( and my lens!!) from behind the band. I also fail to understand why they don't throw some light onto the front of stage at this venue, for the most part Muddy and Bob were in permanent shadow, only the centre of stage had any front lights at all. Anyway the pictures turned out half decent despite all this.

Another great gig from Wishbone Ash in Frome at the Cheese & Grain. My first time at this venue. I have the usual Photographers complaints about the lighting which was very contrasty from the predominantly white lights, still I like some of the shots and Andy was in full posing mode, he said afterwards that he was trying to get out of the line of the mic stands for me....as if playing the guitar and singing wasn't enough to think about!
